I was brought up from my very early years with a lot of love and care.Our family has always been an affectionate and united one, and has strong religious and moral roots.
Throughout my childhood,I was extremely eager to learn and in our family, everyone was very supportive and helpful to each other.The family of which we are a part and which is characterized by love and support, has been the same to this day.
Our real home is in the district of Feni where our early childhood years were spent.I can recall my grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins with great affection.The time we spent together was nothing but fun and laughter.
Grandfather’s home is still strong and our family is still respected in the village because we are the descendants of the Soudagor line, a known and prestigious family in the community.
Grandfather was Idrisiya Soudagor (Idu) by name.He was a very successful businessman and also was the Chairman of the local Union of his area in the district of Feni.He was the owner of a big lumber business at Islampur Road and he was famous for his honesty, generosity, and respect for the society.The whole family, for that matter, take the honesty, justice, and diligence of their grandfather as their pride and inspiration.
After the death of the grandfather, the management of the family business was taken over by my father.He went abroad later and lived in Kuwait for a long time.My father, Joynal Abdin was a man of faith, integrity, and diligence.My mother Nasrin was a teacher of Madrasa a woman highly educated, religious, and respected in the society.Through the mutual efforts, sacrifices, and love of both my parents, the family has come to the position it holds today.
One of my uncles is a foreign resident and is always helping in the welfare and progress of not only our family but also our village.Another uncle is into business in Feni.All of those who are my uncles and aunts have a good life and are loving and caring towards all family members.
A New Chapter In 2007, We left Feni and went to Dhaka to start a new chapter of our life.Afterward, we have been living in Gulshan Lake Drive Road on a permanent basis. We do have an apartment of our own today where we live as a happy and peaceful family.The decision to move to Dhaka was the starting point of the new educational, career, and life opportunities.
We were two children of the same parents — I am the elder, and my sister is the younger. My sister is married and leading a happy life in her family. I’ve got three maternal uncles and the fact is, all of them are well-established.Two of them have businesses in Feni, and the third is residing in Chattogram .My aunts are also educated, respected, and well-settled in their own families.
Love, respect, and compassion are some of the qualities that were taught to each member of our family.The relationship between grandparents, parents, uncles, aunts, and cousins is of a very high level.
We support each other in both good and bad times and we keep in touch continuously as one united family.Our family has as its basis love, education, hard work, and faith.The honesty of my grandfather and the dedication of my father that still brighten our way to our life journey.
By the mercy of Allah, our family is living in comfort and Insha’Allah, we will continue to grow and move forward with unity, peace, and prosperity
